What I think is a joke - or more likely pathetic - is that he is unwilling to support his wife's career and life-interests while probably expecting her to support his. If you are so diametrically opposed to what interests her, why/how did you ever get married and what made you think that your unwillingness to have even the minutest interest in her life (fine arts, aka classical music) is the basis for a marriage?

I'm sure a violinist in an orchestra makes good money. She doesn't need his $$$.

Violinist Salary, Real Jobs Starting, Average Salary, ranked by Salary, page 1

If I had chosen, I could probably make at least $80/hr being a violin teacher. Musicians RULE! (but not the ones who brag they are gonna make it big and have nothing to show for it)

And trust me, most people who play in orchestras have extra time for part-time teaching or some other endeavor.

Nah, some of us are content with a REAL job. Just because you are famous doesn't mean you are any good. Look at John Mayer! LMAO This Aussie kids blows his doors off and is a kid playing in his bedroom. I bet Eddie would even agree...... John sucks when he tried to do my song. Go Casey.... GO!
