Happy New Year everyone. I just stayed home and feel asleep right after ball dropped. It was funny watching NYC times square knowing I had been there 6 years ago with the ex. (yesterday would have been our 6 yr anniversary).

Told all boy toys to pound sand for new years. Done with all that. Ex didn't text me for nye and I'm perfectly fine with that. I didn't text him either. Hoping this new year will be better than the last one..

Cleaned the apt, beat on brat cat, running errands and going to bf's house to watch UFC fight tonight..Not a bad way to start off the new year!

She was only 8 years old and in great health. Was running, jumping and playing around with me and the little one yesterday and now she's gone. I am beyond miserable. Beyond sad. Numb. I have almost given up using any commercial cleaning products, but I just remembered using Spot Shot recently because nothing else (other than poisons...) can really remove carpet stains and I didn't even use gloves. What an idiot!
