On the oats - I agree! Soooooo much better than rolled oats!! As for the pecan pie - what amazed me was how dang easy it was!!! This recipe was from Ree Drummond's site (she's got a ton of great stuff on there) and I messed with it just a little (I wanted it a bit less sweet). I had it mixed up and in the oven in barely over 10 minutes!

I'm supposed to be looking for a ham and bean soup recipe but all your CD shenanigans sucked me in.

I just polished off the last of the ham and been soup I made from leftover porker from Christmas and was it goooooood. Are you using the hambone itself. I'll just send you mine.
