I'm going to graduate from college soon but I don't even have any goals! I don't know what I should do with my life. When did you guys find out about what you should to with your life (careers, and etc.)?

Find something you like to do. In a vocation you enjoy. Finally find a place to ply your trade. Granted your dream job won't likely be your first job work to establish yourself.

Ask yourself what would you like to do. Then ask where do you want to live.

Much more common than you think. Just make sure you start off on the right foot, it doesn't matter how low down the ladder you are (assuming you can afford it). You need to be in an environment that interests you, not one that is just comfortable / easy / well-paid / sensible, otherwise there is a danger you will wake up in 20 years wondering what the hell you have done with your life.

List your hobbies and interests and then go from there.

Yeah, that's always a tough one and the farther along it takes to decide, seems like the harder it is. One simple thing that might be worth your while, even if you're not interested in school right now, is to go over to your local community college and tell 'em you're thinking about going back to school but don't know what you want to study.

They'll usually have a career-counseling section, that will give you a bunch of tests, to assess everything from your abilities, personality and temperament, to revealing some of your hidden drives. You might find it very helpful for stripping away some of the confusion, family expectations, assumptions, etc. that may be clouding your judgment... and your instincts. Good luck!

What are your passions? If you do what you love, you'll never feel like you are working

You're not alone. I'm pushing 30 and my life is not in order. I don't have a career. You're better off than most. I'm trying to get my life on track and it starts by going back to school. What is your major? That should help you decide something.

It can be so difficult to find your career path. I suggest you talk to a Career's Counselor. They look at your strengths and inclinations and can give you some directions that might fit you.
