Well I accepted a date from this guy and we went out last night.
I had a really good time. The dreaded why did your last relationship end question came up but it really didn't pain me that much to briefly recap the demise of my last relationship. And well I had a good time!
That brings up the point: How much do you tell a new date about a prior relationship? My opinion is "the less the better" at that stage of dating — and no negative details. I'd keep it as simple as, "We just didn't click, and parted on good terms." No blame, and no melancholic moments.
So I guess I'm not really ready to start anything serious but I met a really nice guy who's quite smitten with me.
I don't want to stop talking to him just because I'm still healing from my last relationship and I'm kind of weary of anything new, but I mean who knows this could be the one right?
Maybe I should just have fun and see how it all goes?
