Default Ladies...tattoos as gifts?

Would you like a gift certificate from a tat artist/shop or a tattoo paid for as a gift? Or do you think its too personal.

If you KNOW the person is interested in getting a tattoo, yes. Otherwise, it's just a stupid idea as it is a "gift" which can't be used.

I'm going to side with the ones who said 'as long as the person wants one'. One day I'll get my sleeve finished and I would appreciate a little help towards that

Yes, I have assumed the person has, or is interested in getting some ink. I spoke with a woman who has some intricate work and she goes to a guy that charges $150/hr.

Personally its not really my thing, but I don't mind if she has a few. Although I'm in corporate America I wouldn't like it to be used on the face, or on cleavage or hands.
