I think a lot of business people out there could really benefit from astrology. Its like a secret weapon to help you get an edge over others!
Am I smelling a Scorpio placement in your chart, Tobias?

I work in a LTC/Rehab facility with access to birthdates, oftentimes their armbands have it printed there. Whenever I encounter a difficult patient, I do a quick delineation, and I'm more equipped to deal with this patient, or know what to expect. And, no, the sun signs tell me very little if anything.

I'm more interested in their fighting skills. Are they going to kick me, punch me or go the passive-aggressive route on me. Mars in Scorpio? Oh dear! I had one of these patients one time, in his 80's, it took 3-4 people to wrestle with him! Extremely violent patient! Kicked me to the floor one time! Mars in the quick/hot-tempered fire signs: use caution!

And those that demand attention ASAP who refuse to use the civilized call light and insensitively wake up the entire hall with their screaming and yelling for Nurse? The barking, growling lions do that! And no matter how much you tell them "You're waking everybody up on the hall at 3am" it goes in one ear of the Lion and out the other! Afterall, Leo is the sign of the King, the President! I once had two of these lions on one hall, and they'd sort of compete to see who could growl the loudest, wake up the most people!

Even when I read about a controversial figure in the news, I somehow will dig and dig until I find their birthdate, and learn something, satisfy my curiosities. I read all my biographies with all my ducks lined up in a row first: extract the birthdates of the figures, delineate, and then read, study.

Oh, what the "bike riders" are missing!

Point well-well-taken!

Sometimes I'll do a delineation of a birthdate, and? And wonder: was a number transposed here? Wrong birthdate? Nothing seems to fit here very well. Imagine how confusing it is for someone with the bare essentials of Astrology!

Ok, then where do you go with this? Relgious influence can override/weaken/obliterate any number of factors in a chart. Imagine looking up the placements of a woman in Iran ruled by Islam? You see the promiscuity factors, or you see an extremely ambitious woman who should be running for President or running their own business, and? And there they are, with their chadors, following their husbands around like dogs!

A strong parental influence can also confuse the uninitiated. You had a driven, workaholic, materialistic, dictatorial mother or father, and then? Your true self can get squashed in the process!

But this is where Astrology can intervene to regain your real, true self, that is, if you're welcoming to the idea. You may be enjoying your artificial identity and life so much, you may look a your true self as boring, uninviting, no interest in going there!

And what happens when you lead a life of denial/suppression? Your real self pops up, strangely/oftentimes, through projection, in your relationships. And lots of hair-pulling!

"Why oh why! Do I consistently magnetize these people into my life! I hate this sign, that sign, but invariably our paths are forever crossing! How do I get off this torturous treadmill!!!"

Jump off, and rediscover your lost selves! May not be fun/enjoyable but you can't run forever!

I am a pisces, hubby is a sag, we get along pretty well but every now and again it seems as if we are from.....well different planets lol! My personality is to be more adventurous and spontaneous his is, there is a laid out path let's just go there sort of attitude, I think it helps to balance us out. I will pick up and move at a moments notice if I did not have some grounding and he would happily never leave if I didn't just have to "flitter about" as my grandmother calls it.
I don't use astrology in deciding on relatonships but I think it is very interesting and like to research a bit for fun from time to time.

Wow that is an interesting combination. Sagittarius wants to be the center of attention and Pisces doesn't want any attention at all. I'd say it probably works out great for both of you. And I bet you both like to dance!

yep right on about the attention thing when we go anywhere he is the one making everyone laugh and I am happy to observe!! And we both like to dance but I don't so much in public if people are going to be watching, but it was absolutely adorable to watch him dance with his grandmother at family functions before she died, you could tell she was so eager to get up but would not without an "escort" so it was perfect.

We're talking Cancer Moon here?

You don't know Cancer, negatively expressed, when it get's into its emotionally demanding/selfish "me, me, me" stage! It can out-me Aries any day of the year!

Cancer doesn't compete directly, it's an indirect, passive-agressive sign, and a Cardinal sign, like Aries: leaders, directors, control freaks, my way or take the highway!

Cancer does lend itself to superb listening skills, which are all but absent in Aries. who only listens to himself. Please don't butt in when my brilliant mind is at work!

My bff is a Pisces gal with a Leo. I was pretty shocked when I found out he was a Leo but I'm actually a fan of opposite couples. There really hasn't been a romantic connection with my same element sun signs and thats what actually made me interested in astrology. All the "textbook" signs I was suppose to be a match made in heaven with, was anything but. So I like hearing couples like Fire/Water etc. cause it just shows you can have a harmonious relationship with someone who's not cut from the same cloth sort of speak.
