My grandmother always said stick your stomach out as far as it will go, feel your muscles stretching, hold it as long as you can, and they will go away. Old Southern remedy for hiccups....lol.

That's what I do, except I inhale. It feels like my diaphragm stretches upwards.

Sometimes I eat to much and it feels like my diaphragm is stretched.

Does that count.

You know SiFu, I did see the news about people overdosing on 4Loco and the mass hystreria that followed and how they got rid of it in New York. I'm not a drinker of 4Loco, since it looks like it probably tastes like Monster, yuck. I'm a Red Bull drinker, so I don't know if it finally reached extinction everywhere or if it's still available. But I think that the people who were going to the hospital because of 4Loco were actually heavy drinkers. When caffeine and alcohol are mixed in large quantities, the body has a negative reaction to it. However, I have read reports in natural health magazines that say that mixing a small amount of alcohol and caffeine can save your life if you think that you might be having a stroke. Supposedly, the alcohol opens up your blood passages, and the caffeine makes the blood rush. This will increase the chances that you will live another day if you haven't reached the hospital yet. They say that with a stroke, every second counts. I guess it does, since I have a uncle who had a stroke and his family failed to take him to the hospital in time. When he woke up at the hospital, it was too late. He had lost a great deal of brain cells and is now mentally retarded. He used to be a normal man, and it's scary how he now behaves like a 3 year old.

I don't normally drink. I might drink once every blue moon. When I do, I drink a Pepsi along with it, or a coke. I don't know why, but it feels good going down my stomach in that combination. But I'm a very light drinker. 2 servings, and I'm done. I think that has a lot to do with not ending up in the hospital .
