yea I understand. but I think who pays isnt neccessarily indicative of dates. nowadays i'm told "Hanging out" is kind of equivalent to "dating" and nobody likes to "date" anymore.

I don't know. Just take all advice with a grain of salt and do what feels right to you!

Foolish men count their chickens before they hatch. If you never tried to kiss him, touch him, or making long, sexy eye contact, he should take it for what it's worth. Some guys always hope for the best. In this case you must be stern with him. If you have anything good about you, you will let him down in a fashionable manner. IE, don't tell him to p*ss off! lol

He doesn't sound like he's interested in you to me,...if he is he's going about it in a strange way. I think he's more interested in whether YOU'RE interested in him , but only for curiosities sake.If he asks you for coffee, and then doesn't pay the tab, that would be a big sign for me....In the mate department it sounds like you've made the right choice....he sounds like a lost cause to me.
