I see those single roses at the cashier, and I think "Who buys this stuff???" Apparently, some people do. Talk about a last minute purchase. "I need Marlboro Reds and a lighter. Oops, roses! Better throw one of those in. Can you give me the cigs in a hardpack, please? Aw, man... can you hang on while I run and get me a 6 pack of Bud and some wine coolers for the wife?"
No offense to those who like wine coolers. Or Budweiser. Or Marlboros.
I'm not sure yet. I usually make a dinner of shrimp scampi, salad, asparagus, garlic bread and heart shaped brownie sundaes. The rodeo is in town, though, and I'm thinking that may be a good night to go and that it won't be too crowded. I'm sure the kids would have a blast.
