It takes a lot to shock me and for me to say that something is f-ed up or weird.

Obviously things like having intercourse with animals or children is not something I would just shrug at and say “meh, if that’s how they want to live their lives”, but I accept pretty much any way another person wants to live their life as long as it isn’t hurting anybody else.

I often see people stare/shake their heads/whisper about those who are dressed a certain way. I don’t think that just because a girl is working in a strip club that she has daddy issues, nor do I think that a man covered in tattoos is a trouble making thug. I don’t care how many strippers or how many thugs you know … I’m not looking for counteractive examples, I just wish more people would take the time to get to know people inside before they branded them.

This issue has probably been discussed on here before but man, it just drives me crazy. I was judged based on my appearance when I was younger and it’s a horrible, horrible thing to go through. I am sure some of you understand this too.

Where do you draw the line? Do you think you judge people based on appearance, or their profession? What things do you find “weird”?

I don't spend my time judging people. I want to think of myself as a very open-minded person. I don't judge people's behavior, it takes a lot to shock me and feel disgusted. That causes for a lot of people to open up to me, especially with things they would be embarrassed to admit to others.

Looks? Eh, I find myself sometimes saying: "what the hell is she wearing?" Not something I would say to a person unless she is a really close friend and it would not reflect on how I think of them as a human being.

Maybe those are good people who just happened to fall in with bad people?

I am TOTALLY judgemental. And an insufferable snob. In case you hadn't noticed.

We would not get along well.

Basically if you have ever called anyone a freak, ****, weirdo, loser etc without actually knowing the person… don’t be friends with me.
