She actually did say yesterday that she was planning on going out with her friends today, but I was banking on a chance that those plans fell through. Ah well, I'll try again some other time.

I like this me much better as well. Still a struggle from time to time but I think my optimism is increasing. I'm trying to have an attitude of "so what" with dating. In other words, if this girl doesn't end up working out... so what? There are another 13,000 girls on my campus alone.
