It's a good idea to carry one of these in your vehicle (or similar one). I have one similar that has saved my bacon a few times when i was exploring the BLM lands.
I actually have one of those! But the battery in my car is either a defective battery, or something in my car is draining it. The battery is still under warranty, so I'm going to charge it to drive it to the auto shop tomorrow.
On another note, this is my first life creation. (I have a permission to post this photo from a child's mother). Photograph is from Katia Hernandez Photography. I was nervous, it was my first time painting on someone other then my son and my husband, so the brush strokes could definitely be more refined...

If the battery ends up to be good, it's possible you need an alternator rebuild. Or a bad regulator, etc.
Not yet. I'm stuck at home with a car that has a dead battery.
