From my understanding of the bible, I would say that the God of the bible is both a loving God and a God that doesn't accept anyone, not even an idol, to be compared to him.
Based on the very little I've read, I'd say he was a pretty mean dude!
Logically speaking, if Phil is Buddha, and not some statue, then that would mean that Buddha is an actual person who believes they are God. So Phil would be Lucifer.
From my understanding of the bible, I would say that the God of the bible is both a loving God and a God that doesn't accept anyone, not even an idol, to be compared to him. He wants and expects loyalty. Not everyone can offer him loyalty since it is a virtue. He did make everyone so that they would be able to choose for themselves if their loyalty will be with him or with themselves, or with any other "god", including loyalty to the fallen angel Lucifer who decided he could be a God too. Many people say that God is stern and has faults. I disagree. Think of God as a warrior and defender of his people, who is no fool and is not a namby pamby sort of God. After all, he is a God, not a character in Care Bears.
Well said!
Now, about those TeleTubbies with that weird baby-god in the sky...
Yeah, they wanted to pull Tinky Winky out of the show because he was possibly gay. Lol. Perez Hilton would of had a heart attack if they had.
I'm afraid I'm not up on my celebs - could you please 'splain it to me?
