How can I change this? I think maybe it's because I'm just typing what I'm saying, and in real life, I don't know, I just feel like I can't be the same way even though I want to. Guys I talk to on messengers and I know in real life find it strange? How can I force myself to change this?

Stopping communicating online! Get off the internet and the cell phone. Your situation is exactly what is causing so many young people to never achieve the necessary social skills for a successful relationship.

in real life you struggle too much with the social skill part of it or are too self conscious to be as sociable as youd like. Id advise just spend LESS time on the computer and MORE time talking in real life.

At least some of us have old skills to brush off... Others (read high-tech youngsters) never got them!

I'm the same way ... I'm shy though. I see no problem in it, just try to relax and take your time to find the words to say. It's what I do.

I suggest a drama class. You need to learn to get into a character. You can create many changes in yourself with acting.

I say the exact same thing on here as I would in real life. The only difference is some who push it wouldn't in real life when they can see me!

Creating/interacting with Internet friends has spoiled me and many others.

If I eventually lose all my social skills, good riddance!

Social settings have always been awkward, stressful for me, long before I discovered the Internet. No ignore button to press if you start feeling mightily uncomfortable or trapped in one of these social situations.
