I have been through some extremely painful times in all of my different relationships. As I am sure most of you have. The things is I have also had sometimes in everyone of those relationships that will always warm my heart. There are times when the wife I am divorcing made me so happy. It is a shame that all ended. I am sure she feels the same way. Sometimes we just grow apart. Anyway Love is an amazing, evil, thrilling, terrifying, awe-inspiring, bitter, tender, experience that drives us to be together. While the bad times are really bad. The good times are not replaceable.

So many break-ups on this forum and in general. Thanks in advance for any thoughts.

time... and during that time, fill your life with good, caring people- to know them as "people," not "prospective dates/partners"

Use discernment and make sure you fully comprehend that there are a lot of people out there that fall in the bad spectrum. I always can tell by what I see in their eyes and in the tone of voice.

Me and my girlfriend have been together 2 years now and yesterday we had a major argument around the trust issue i wont go into it now but for me its kind of hard cause at a very young age my mother just left me and a sibling with no father but i was wondering if anyone thinks it is normal or not to have trust issues with her due to the drama caused by abandonment if so what would be some things that could help

Be aware of yourself. It's okay to trust and love again but make sure that person earns what you give. If you don't try again you could miss out on something great. Never give someone 100 percent of who you are blindly. Hope that makes sense to you. When you see you are being loving and giving and you aren't getting it back...pack up your toys and go. Don't continue to do so.
