I would marry a short guy with a big personality faster than a tall guy with no personality.

I think it's because many of us have experience with rejection or put-downs due to our height, and because we recognize that we are already in the minority, height-wise. There aren't that many tall guys to go around, especially since a lot of the shorter women like them too.

Also, I'm used to people being shorter than I am, so a lot of them look about the same size to me.

Because if you are 5'10+ as a woman there aren't tons of men that would be taller than her.

I'm not quite 5'4" and it's safe to say most men are taller than me. Still...I wouldn't be interested in a man my height or even an inch or two taller...5'10 is the shortest (ha, and only because that's how tall my husband is).

I saw this young couple walking down the street, the guy was probably 6'2 or taller and the girl was probably 5'1 or 5'2.

I don't wanna be mean, but it did look pretty silly.

But, whatever makes people happy.

LOL. I just like to be able to fit my head under his chin. That's my requirement. I like to fit like a puzzle when we hug.

I'm 5'9. I have dated guys shorter than me in the past, but now I wouldn't go for anyone who is not at least as tall as me.

I like to wear heels now more so than in the past. It just feels awkward when he's 5'7 and I'm 6'1 (in 4' inch heels) towering over him. :P
