While it is common for a man to marry a woman from a third world country and take her back home to put her in college, get her a car, buy her new clothes, put a roof over her head, send money to her parents, etc. It is not common at all for women to do that for a man. Women’s preferences for a mate sound a bit more strict compared to men. Something women have even agreed on.

I don't think it is a man vs woman thing. Women with success and money can sometimes act just like men when choosing a mate. They look for better looking, younger guys with more congenial, attentive personalities, but as far as earnings and success they could just be "okay". She's already got the big house and big car. Some women with money are power hungry and continue to look for even more powerful men... but I don't think it happens that frequently.

As far as looking for foreign women as wives, it's probably kind of like outsourcing. You might get a better deal overseas because you will get a younger, prettier, more attentive person in exchange for what you are willing to pay. But once she's here and she sees all sorts of opportunities around her, she will become just like an American woman... best watch your back. (And by this I don't mean that American women are bad gold diggers, I just think that your money isn't going to impress the foreign women anymore).
