How many dates a week or a month are approriate with someone you just started seeing?

I'm thinking, we need enough days off from eachother to maintain mystery but also enough days to get to know each other and have fun.

I just started seeing a guy and this is our 3rd date this week. Is this okay or is this a bad idea?

Whenever I wasn't doing something with the guys she would have me. I wouldn't put her last on the list either. Most of the time my friends are all cool with that. I don't ditch them either. A balance is always needed and I never had "THAT" problem.

As long as he doesn't feel like you're rearranging your life to hang out with him, it's no biggie.

I don`t think anything is set in stone as to how many dates is appropriate. I just think be yourself, and don`t worry about it.
I mean, if you two are getting along, and having fun together, and you both have the time and money, go for it. ..day by day.

Thanks for the replies.
I wouldn't blow off the girls or the family to hang with him, but I don't want to come across as desperate for agreeing to go on this many dates in one week.

Some dates are desperately needed in the beginning for BOTH parties though.

This isn't the guy that you ran out of the bar when he started talking about his ex, is it? To me, 3 dates in a week isn't excessive if you're clicking with him and having fun.
