I remember the first lady that I lived with immeditely started leaving the bathroom door open after only 2 days of living together, not for the #2 though.
She was not shy, and I was like WTF?!?!
She would stink the bathroom up, so I showed her where I kept the air freshener.
ROFL I was trying to find this scene from Dumb and Dumber, and, lo and behold it brought me to CD!
To answer the question, obviously my husband and I have been together forever, but I was never too shy about using the toilet at a guy's house. I excuse myself, do what has to be done, clean up, use air freshener as applicable, and back to whatever I'm doing.
I'm so glad someone revived this because my day has sucked and this made me laugh so hard!
If you've gotta go...then you've gotta go. I mean who would dump (hehe) someone for taking a crap in their house? It's a natural thing to do and it's so bad for you to hold it!
It would be awkward if we are just starting to date. LOL I don't normally care about stuff like that, but it would be weird.
I took a *little* more discretion early on with #2, #1 was never an issue, but (TMI alert) I've always been a very "regular" person, so I've always had the attitude that everyone sh*ts, so just get it over with already. I am not one to "hold it" for hours if there is an available bathroom.
Think about it - if some making out or sex is going to happen, what's worse? The possibility of having to use his toilet, or the discomfort and potential embarassment of having to "go" while you're trying to have some fun? I guess you could just leave and excuse yourself, but talk about making your date/SO confused!
