I really want to know how old this guy is because his question makes me think he's either not that bright or he's still relatively young.

Im not thinking with the little head. Sex is a huge part of the relationship... I don't get what marriage has to do with anything? sex is the only part missing...
My sex drive died...as in, I could care less if I ever had sex again. I brought it up to my OB and she said it was normal to feel like that after having kids
So I brought it up to my GP (among many other issues I was having) and she ran some bloodwork. I had hypothyroid and once I got on meds the drive went through the roof! I'm having a hard time keeping my hands to myself.
I also noticed a very low drive when I was on birth control too.
There could be a lot of things going on here with your SO...it may be something medical, or it might be something that YOU need to fix. Has it been the same ol', same ol' for the last 7 yrs? If there's nothing medical going on, maybe you need to introduce a little spice?

I think sex (or lack of it) is just the symptom. Sex may be the only part missing for YOU in this relationship, but I bet there's a whole lot going on which you conveniently are not interested in sharing with us.
If you're this open & forthcoming with your SO, no surprise that there's no sex.
