You've got to feel sorry for these people - horrible things have apparently happened to them in the past and they just want to escape to a place they feel safe - babyhood.
It's disturbing for sure, but they aren't hurting anyone and are only attempting to destress and self-sooth.
^^ Probably the best way to look at the situation. ^^
What's the big deal?
Parents raising the last batch of adults managed to infantalize an entire generation.
That's true. It's not only the parents' fault, though. It's really tough to be forced to have your children raised by the society and then be unable to deliver the final "wonderful" product at society's doorstep and get rid of it.
Heck, kids are given the numbers to call should their parents infringe on their "rights" in school! If parents are more assertive, they'd easily end up in jail or have the kids taken away from them. People I knew from my home country came here when their kid was about 10. In a few months, a sign showed up on his door: Keep Out! Obviously, the idea came from school - not sure if it was from the other kids or from other sources... He was also whining and threatening them he can call for help. Of course, his parents killed these tendencies in the bud, but the influence was immediate!
You know, as hard as that was to watch, he seemed like SUCH a nice guy.
It's very hard to put aside the "ick" factor...then again, he says it's not a s *xually motivated fetish, at least.
This guy seems happy and so does the woman who "caretakes" when he's playing the baby...as weird and icky as it may seem to the rest of the world, maybe each of them has found his/her secret place in the world.
I...the only words I have for this is as long as he's not hurting anyone and does not try to infringe his lifestyle upon any unwilling person, well we really have no right to judge. Personally, I do not desire a lifestyle such as his, nor do I want to associate with anyone who follows such a lifestyle, but it's his life, her life and he's paying her. No need to beat the crap out of the guy.
