Romances happen IN the workplace all the time. And I feel that they are even more problematic than customer-employee relationships.

I somewhat don't like the idea of taking someone's time while they are at work to ask them out. But if you find someone you're attracted to, there shouldn't be any reason that you can't ask! People are so self-limiting sometimes! You can keep it brief, either give them your number, or ask for theirs, and say you'd like to talk with them sometime.

You don't even know if the person is single or taken...until you have the chance to ask.
