She wasn't the one who was married though, the men were, that's the difference.
Exactly. Breaking up someone else's marriage is different than breaking up your own. This thread is about those who cheat, not those who are the other woman. As for why we hear about famous men cheating more often than famous women, I think a lot of it has to do with being in a position of power. People in powerful positions tend to get inflated egos and after a while think they can do anything. And men tend to be in those positions more than women.
Cheating wife, cheating husband and the people they have affairs with should all be compilied together. Over any average persons lifetime theres a 50/50 chance you will be one of those groups. It might be out outright Affair or a Fling or maybe the other person or you are separated at the time. The only thing that will throw off the statistics are the people who have SOs that don't get married. They would consider the SO's as cheating but many people will say you can only complain if your married. The law would substantiate this except in certain states.
OH and since we're mentioning politicians too let's not forget Sara Palin with a friend of her husband.
If this were true, the mainstream media would be all over it. Especially since most of the mainstream media hates Sarah Palin. There is no way the MSM would have remained quiet about this.

Thats the fact and like I said in the other thread; Huge Heftner, the Kennedys and Bill Clinton are all in good shape if they cheat cause it is expected of them.

Yes, and Woman are much better at hiding it or as said below can play the sympathy card!
I think there is also a little bit of a double standard when women cheat. If it becomes public all they have to do is say they were abused or neglected and suddenly they are victims and all is forgiven. They can go on Oprah and cry a little and they were totally justified.
I also think the women who have cheated were more careful and more selective. A lot of the men who did get caught weren't all that discreet, or messed around so much that it was inevitable they'd get caught, like Spitzer and Clinton.
