I'm starting a thread that has people share their funny and sometimes outrageous pick-up stories that actually succeeded in getting at least one or more dates.Let's try to make it a thread that focuses on successes and not failures. One good example is from the movie "The Break Up" starring Vince Vaughn and Jennifer Anniston. The initial ballgame scene where Vince's character Gary hits on Brooke played by Jennifer Anniston is hilarious!
Back in the day when my dad and his best friend Randy were in high school, one of their favorite things to do to kill time was just.. stupid things. Apparently, they were at the mall one day when they saw this REALLY good-looking girl, that could have only gone to one of the private schools in the area (apparently dressed really nicely, and blah blah blah.)
My dad sees her, points her out to Randy, and then says "I dare you to go over there and ask if she wants to.. you know.."
Randy: "OK"
Randy, to girl: "Hi, wanna ****?"
Girl, to an incredulous Randy: "Got a bed?"
Apparently they dated for a while after that, with her becoming Randy's girlfriend for a time. Awesome story, esp. considering Randy is way more redheaded and freckly and geeky than I am.. (I've met him, and would have never guessed that that could happen. lol.)
Walk up to her and look her dead in the eye, then ask, "How do you like your eggs cooked."
I've never used it, but I heard it gets a good laugh.
