I was born in 61 in NYC...could I have that good of a memory???Can't remember what I had for breakfast!
Well, according to that article (which by the way is in 4 long parts! ) there were several "rebirths" of Wink - the original was broadcast '53 - '57 (which is the one I remember - I must have seen it in syndication); a very short resurrection in '69; and now supposedly they're bringing it back once again.
Of course now it will probably be a TV version of Grand Theft Auto - Vice City ...
"Quick, kids! Draw Tommy a SPAS-12 to blast those wh*res!"

I think many people have downscaled some by choice and others out of need (my case)! It truely is freeing in alot of ways...just eliminates alot of bull$#@% and opens you up to what is important!Wish I realized it sooner!
Me too.
I remember an interview with Evangeline Lilly of "Lost." Her home in Hawaii had burned down to the ground. She talked about how freeing it was. I mean, obviously, it's a huge loss, and an enormous pain replacing the things you "have" to replace -- paperwork, legal stuff, etc. -- not to mention personal things you can't replace (although you can always keep whatever those things represented inside of you), but I fantasize about starting with nothing and just striving for the barest of necessities.
Did you ever see Mrs. Rogers...lets just say she looked like you would think!
I didn't know he was married. Hell I didn't think anyone would marry that guy.
