Eh, I'm losing it rather quickly. Or, if not quite losing it, modifying it into something profane and perverted.

Maybe I'm just going back to Phil 1.0 ...

But yes, the testing has occurred over most of my life when I'm in such situations. One learns to deal with it, one way or another. It can get tiresome, but it's also a good "pop quiz" to see if I'm advancing or retreating in my studies. Usually an equal mixture of bluff, bravado, psychology, experience and confidence sees me through.

Thanks for checking out the blog.

Phil, do you ever get any drama from kissing different women who all work at the same place?

It depends where I'm kissing them...

No, never any drama that I can see. There's usually enough other drama going on that makes a little kiss pale in comparison. Besides, by this time we're more like an extended dysfunctional family - kisses, hugs and gropes are de rigueur.

So I dropped off the wife and kids at the airport yesterday for their vacation and didnt really think I'd be missing them too too much but, on the drive home, all these love songs were playing on the radio and boy did the waterworks start. Its only been 10 hours and I am already sick.

Awww - that stinks. And listening to something like "Ain't No Sunshine" doesn't help, I know.

Maybe sink yourself into work, and if you're not working watch a lot of cheesy videos.

Yeah, definitely a lot of work, but more importantly, a LOT more uninterrupted kung fu/taji practice. Think I'll adopt a dog as well to hang out with me.

Heh, heh - see? There's a Yang for every Yin!

The dog idea is great! Is it going to be one of those little pocket dogs, so you can carry it while you practice?

Make sure you agree with what they call "high" - I've known a lot of people that got bent out of shape after receiving news like this, when there wasn't really any problem at all beside SLIGHTLY elevated levels.

Doctors err on the side of caution - sometimes psychotically so.

249. She said it was more borderline, and may have been affected by the fact that I had only fasted for 7 hours. It's not the first time I've heard this though, and it would line up with my bad diet and lack of exercise.

I'm not really bent out of shape, I'm just gonna start eating healthy and exercising. I already resisted temptation - after the appointment (keep in mind that I left around 3:40PM and had not eaten since 7AM), I walked past a favorite burger joint of mine and dined at a salad place instead :O

And I was really craving a burger too!!
