Just a guess, but I think the connection is that a typical alpha male likes to shine. He doesn't keep his alpha light hidden under a shade where the ladies can't appreciate it.
This is true, but I still fail to see how refusing to play captain save a ho falls under "not shining".
Go ahead, laugh it up. That bear and her relationship with it was out of control. We shopped for Polo shirts for him that he wore. Who would have known that the size for a 2 year old would fit him? Seriously, who does that crap. I also still have a picture of him. .. . .yep, with Santa Claus. The look I got from Santa was priceless. Kind of like "wow, the sex must be great if your doing this". Then there was the time we were having sex early in the morning and light was coming in through the window and she stopped and reached over and turned the bear around so he couldn't watch. Like I said, one word: disturbing.

Like wow....like my roots need a touch up, my Ronald Reagan picture is crooked, Toxic is not loud enough, I missed my date with like my probation officer, my hangover is making my head like hurt, I am like really late for church, my belly button ring is getting like gross, my spiked dog collar necklace is too tight, my newest tat of Chris Brown itches, and like I can't get my pants to button. Man...like you have quite a list....

I agree to above, being a jerk to people in service jobs is a REAL turnoff. So is excessive piercings excessive tattoos, (sleeves), coffee breath, foul mouth (language), smoker, excessive drinker, guys who wear jewelry, high-pitched voices, guys who LIKE musicals, *shudder*, etc.
Also I know guys can't help it if their voice is high pitched, or other things. It is just not appealing and therefore I consider it a "turn-off".
