I wonder if any of you are living together, do you combine everything or you seperate your socks and his socks?

Maybe that's the difference?

What's mine is his, what's his is ours.... share socks, share shampoo, share money, share french fries, share kitchen appliances, share peanuts.... if you're gonna be with someone, be with them, don't draw a white chalk line down the center of the house and stay in your own numptually-correct and controled environment.

Is this a business relation? or a marriage! .. is this a tenant? or the love of your life. sheesh.

I would take it from the standpoint that, if you can't trust me past wanting to marrying me, with a congenial list of "back up" strategies for when things "go bad", then you are not ready to marry me. I will not be with anyone that I do not trust, or that wouldn't trust me, and I would take it as a personal insult if someone felt they needed to tie my affections for them, into a binding legal agreement having to do with their property.

JMO
same feelings here....

Whats mine would be hers. If it would make her happy to walk off with it all...so be it. If it came to that I would probably deserve it. If I did not...she would get whats coming to her some day. Some how...some way...she will pay. But material things are not that important to me. It's just stuff. Ya can't take it with you when you die anyway.

Makes for a nice picture don't it? Kids screaming. Swing set in the yard. Toys every dang where. Dog chasing the cat. The little lady setting the picnic table. And me...flippin burgers on the grill. Yup...makes for a nice picture.

Some of you folks are so sweet and so trusting. Honest, I hope you always feel that way. I don't want you to change!

I'll share my socks and my french fries. But the brokerage account I had before I even met you is mine! Just like the 401K you had before we met is yours. I don't want ANY advantage, I just don't want to be taken advantage OF!
