HARTVILLE, Ohio, June 15 (UPI) -- An Ohio couple celebrating their 70-year wedding anniversary said the secret to their long marriage is simple -- "love each other."

Powell and Evelyn Lusk of Hartville, who married June 14, 1941, when he was 19 and she was 13, said they survived losing two children and a grandchild with the strength of their bond, WJW-TV, Cleveland, reported Wednesday.

Wow! My great grandparents came close. They were married 66 years before my great grandfather just recently passed away.

Right? LOL My grandmother and my husband's mom both got married when they were 16...to guys significantly older. But in their cases, I think they stayed married because they didn't have any other choices. No education, lot of kids etc. What's the point after 50 years?

My mom too...
She and my dad had been married for a long time...It wasnt a long loving marriage
But to those who do have long loving marriages..Im happy for you.
