Of course! Perhaps even more, although usually it's a family thing nowadays. That was back in the early days when we only saw his first two every other weekend.
There are confirmations every day that I married the right man. I especially love how much patience and kindness he shows to my grown children and my other crazy family members. For example, when my parents call, he'll often spend more time chatting with them than I do, even though he has only met them one time.
Many moments confirmed my knowledge along the way...like the time I was running late to get home and get my son to rehearsal for a school event, knowing I was supposed to have finished putting a button on his outfit but not having gotten to it yet. I walked in the house to find my husband sitting at the kitchen table fumbling with a needle and thread and sewing the button on while I son stood by watching him work. It was priceless
