I don't mind mentioning pay to play because I'm not ashamed of it. What a certain medicated woman over 65 wanted me to do was lay out each plan on how I planned to achieve my employment goal of working in broadcasting.

You've got to be kidding. Perhaps you should rethink this strategy of yours and start opening threads to solicit advice of successful people in your "field." Not saying you should adopt their method but it will give you an idea of what to expect instead of this "doing things on the fly" mumbojumbo you are on about!
