A few years ago, for fun, I took my wife for a date but gave her no specifics. I took her to a cheap motel, tied her to the bed posts (well, I suppose they were bed posts) and had a good time (the BOTH os uf did- trust me). It was different and we laughed about it all.
Without getting graphic, any one else do something out of the norm to spice up the relationship? Now, to be sure, my marriage is great and my wife is better to me that I could have hoped for (it's a true blessing to be loved- I am very fortunate) but even good marriages can get better.
I think one of the biggest mistakes that too many married couples do (if not most), is that they stop "dating" each other once children enter the picture.
I never believed in the theory that parents have to take their kids everywhere and include them in everything. Instead, I always told my daughter that sometimes we do things together as a family, other times she'll do things with just one of us, and other times we do things without her. And, no, I never felt guilty about it.
Heck, yes, things can go stale in a hurry if couples don't reserve special focus on each other.
my wife chartered a jet for 1 day ($1200) just so we could join the mile high+ club, the charter knew what she had planned and i can say it was fun but a bit uncomfortable.

Wow!!!!!!! $1200 to get laid? And here I thought we were in an economic depression. For $1200 I could have Carry Underwood for a night and she would even sing my favorite song to me.
