Default Do all people on dating sites use old pictures and lie about their age and weight

I hear men complain that woman they meet on dating sites are posting pictures and weights that are not accurate and some that are off by 50 or more lbs.

Same applys to woman seeking men. Ive heard about a lot of men being plain inappropriate and asking for naked pictures and sex from the get go.

I did meet a woman online that was much larger then her pics. She had a great face and smile so it wasn't a biggy to me but it was false advertising and many men would have been upset I'm sure.

Are these just minor occurances or is this what you actually find online? What did you find out from your online dating experience? would you do it again?

I don't have much experience, but so far I give it a #2

This is something that happened to my GF who used to visit dating sites. A MAN listed his age as 50 or so, and she being a few years younger, went out with him.

Turned out he was 62 and said that he did not list his real age as he did not think women would want to go out with him.

She then dumped him because HE WAS A LIAR.

So if you are going to ask the question....at least be real and ask if ALL MEN and women are untruthful on the sites.

I'm sure it happens, but probably not for people under 30 or so who are in their prime.

I'm changing the title because your question is not gender specific.

I have not dated online, but I think the short answer to any question asking, "Do all _____ do _____?" is no.

Yes. Every single person dating online lies. EVERY SINGLE PERSON!

That's just silly. I've never dated online but most of my friends have. And yes, I know people who met their SO or spouse online. Liars lie. People who aren't liars, don't.

I know quite a few people do, but I certainly never did, and neither did my husband.

I haven't run into any really old pictures yet, but it's seems to be a very common issue. The few times I have shared pictures on the internet and have met the person later I have asked if my pictures are representative of what I look like in real life. The answer has always been yes, my picture looks just like me.
