but how would they meet if they are both shy?...i mean who is going to have the balls to approach between the two of them...this is why that scenario isnt the most common, usually shy people require someone to do the 'moves', because they are too afraid

An excellent question...and one that I admittedly don't have a perfect answer for...

Perhaps if they share the same college course, or are both involved in a similar activity, that they both love participating in? Or if they are set up by a common friend / matchmaker? Idk for sure though...I wish I did...

Looks like it's gonna be difficult for me. I think shy guys are cute but I myself am shy too! I get really shy around super hot guys and think they're taken.

I think the same way around women I'm attracted too with one exception. Their boyfriends or husbands are usually close by.

I'm not talking about a loner, a guy scared to speak, socially awkward, boring, etc.

This hypothetical guy has a very nice personality--very sweet/genuine, great sense of humor, intelligence, modest, easy-going, friendly, wide array of interests:sports, film, etc. Fun guy and super easy to talk to...not really a "club" type of guy. Not a douchey player.

Someone who would blush and smile when you compliment his looks or something else about him.

What would you think? Is this type of guy common? Rare?

thats not a shy guy however I would date a loner if he had an interesting personality

Yeah, the guy's girlfriends or wives are around too! Or there is just some other girl who's more attractive than me starts talking to the guy and I totally get discouraged and don't even try. I just give up and think he's into her.
