It figures that an owner of one would defend them... I'm just not into facial hair much and particularly not into goatees, soul patches, chop sideburns, and other similar growth.

Eh, whatever it was, it WAS... It no longer IS!
Speaking of that, I thought yesterday there's no way those were Melanie's (Griffith) legs on the picture, but I just looked at the legs of a coworker who's about 58-59 and hers are about the same... The things to look forward to!

Awhile back I was at bar and some dude bumped into me, I didn't think it was a big deal, but he couldn't stop apologizing. I've been told I'm hot and have eye catching looks, but have a hard time finding someone. Is too much muscle intimidating? Even if it's hindering rather than helping me it is my body my choice. I would just like a female perspective.

My female perspective suspects you have a Napoleon Complex. You're short and to make up for it, you bulk up and you think it intimidates people which makes you a bit c.ocky.
Most women will be far more attracted to a guy who doesn't need ultra-bulk to be confident. It's not your muscle that's making it hard to find someone, it's your attitude. Deep down, you are not a confident man because a genuinely confident man does not need such excessive bulk. And most women want a genuinely confident man, not one who has to prove it to the world by showing off how big his muscles are. Some women go for that but in my experience, they often have some issues themselves.
And the fact that you enjoy being intimidating? Not cool. It's really pretty obvious why you're having a hard time finding someone.

Did it ever come to your attention that sometimes guys stay in shape just for their own well-being? I tell ya, women sometimes think SO HIGHLY of themselves thinking everything a guy does is for them.

Did it escape your attention that the OP specifically asked for the female perspective?

Some muscle and toneness is great. I don't think muscle heads are attractive because they look unnatural, vain and I hate to say it and dumb. A manly man is attractive but a guy who focuses to much on his vanity is just not. I don't want to be with a guy that's competing with me to be the prettier one. But most of all I like a guy that's mentally interesting and funny.

I'm not attracted to men who have huge muscles and look like big awkward meat heads. I think it's nice to look athletic and toned and I don't even mind a little belly on a man.

They look about the same to me too. A bit too much.
