In the last year, as my husband gets more and more involved in alternative medicine, I have met some incredibly healthy people, men in particular who in their 40s and 50s look and feel better than any 20 year olds. Their diets are clean, they execise, their bodies are fantastic. As a result, their sex life is very fulfilling. There was a workshop that I attended in regards to connection between diet and sex and people were sharing their stories. Many of them over the age of 50 are having the best sex now than ever.
I think in our society there are a lot of men who suffer with libidos due to unhealthy lifestyles, but if they only took better care of themselves their sex lives would not suffer the effects of aging prematurely.
Also, its not about having sex 3 times a day, its about having loooong and satisfying sessions without going limp.

Well, this society is obsessed with youth in general and many seem to think everybody over 40 or even 30 should be tossed in the trash can. Obviously, most of them happen to be under 30 themselves. Guess they think they're invincible.

I made a tincture of it as well. I don't care for epazote, but if I had worms I'd use it like the Aztecs did. I am not surprised at all bee balm has been used as an oral anesthetic since it leaves my mouth a little numb when I chew it. I know of quite a few more even though its not my primary pursuit. Found a Ginkgo branch after a storm so I figured I'd use it for tea. That's from the Jurassic period and it is taken for ED I think.

I am going to tell you some "confidential information"
I grew-up in the tropics to the age of 16 or so before immigrating to the US (long time ago), and remember something that some of you may want to give it a try just for the heck of it since it's not poisonous: whenever I was not feeling well, like just before getting a cold, my mother would go to the yard and "pluck" 3 orange-three leaves, rinse them, and then boiled them in a cup of water for a nice cup of tea. She would add a drop or two of honey, and I just loved the taste of it. No idea if what I liked the most was my loving mother, or just the tea.
No chance of "plucking' orange-tree leaves for me in Alaska, but maybe there are some for you

I've been with men over 40 who've performed just fine and men 25 and under who were impotent. There's just no telling ahead of time. Good thing there's Viagra nowadays. Too bad it didn't exist back when I let those young duds waste me time.

The main difference in the arguments posed here is a 40 yo man knows what it's like to be 20, but the 20 yo doesn't know what it's like to be 40.

Let's see. I am 68, I have sex regularly and my enjoyment has not declined. My partner is 59. She has no problems. Her father is 89. He's still having sex with his 71 year-old girlfriend. And so on. I suspect it's the same way in America.
I think what weighs younger people down when they think about this, is thoughts and images about mom and dad going at it!

Sorry but I don't know where you are getting this info about men in their 40's. I have dozens of male friends in their 40's, 50's and some in their 60. I've never heard a word about ED from any of them except one guy that is 67 and says his stuff still works about 50% of the time without pills.
It's my understanding that this can be a problem for any guy at any age but it doesn't become wide spread until you're in your 60's.
