It's my understanding that this can be a problem for any guy at any age but it doesn't become wide spread until you're in your 60's.
In the absense of experience, studies show ED increases in the 40's anywhere from 5% to 40% and increase more as men age.

I've ridden long distances and sometimes it took a little time to fire up, shortly afterwards. Pressure on certain nerves I think.

No...but I hope to find out in a few years...morning, evening...and I wish I had a hot secretary for mid-days.

While women experience menopause where production of oestrogen hormone cease almost immediate, the men experience production of male hormone - testosterone dropped gradually over time. Medically speaking , it is a fact of life - where the performance is likely to be dropped.
BTW, the production of these hormones in males and females is determined by the pituitary glands - the pea sized of the brain.
Conclusion - it is all in the brain and mind as whether the guy over 40 would be able to perform just as well as he is 20 years younger. Go figure.
BTW, signs where your testosterone is dropping - just watch how much hairs are dropping or turning grey.
Unknown to many men, there is a HRT - Hormones replacement therapy to prevent the symptoms. Just ask your urologist.

Unless the sugar daddy is walking on canes, it is the case of things do get better with age like wine and ginger. Been young before at 20 and now in 40, performance wise it is akin to refined cuisines at 40 compared to MCD Happy Meal at 20. Go figure.

That would be because 40 is a decade premature. ED is almost insignificant, far out weighed by disease and life style for men in their 40s. Half the men aged 40-120 are dead. You must be hanging around some disease ravaged 40 somethings. Early 50s might start to become relevant, especially for those with risk factors. Still, its not even a majority. However that does not really address the goal, and that is to convince men in their 40s to settle for less.

2mares, it seems to me you just have had some bad experiences in this area yourself and you think all older men are good for nothing.

Just because it doesn't ... "inflate".... doesn't mean there isn't sufficient sensation... There's fun to be had if one takes things slow 'n' easy...

One must take advantage of opportunities as they "present" themselves also: early in the morning or whenever freshly awakened, one may find the body has provided suitably inflated organ to enjoy!

And there are a few different pills out there one can buy & use only a portion of at a time. If I were a patient needing it, I'd want to get samples or a discount coupon though, before springing real bucks for the drug.

And sometimes it just takes time in a relationship for "things to perk up" ... In my current relationship, I'd say Mr. Perky is much more reliable these days than he was the first year & I'm into this 8 years now. I was also forewarned that Mr. Perky could take time to be more reliable... My guy is now 51 & very tall... I think circulation could sometimes be an issue but there's never any true disappointment since we enjoy whatever variations we encounter ; )

Oh yeah... I think letting him do MOST Of the work really pays off too.. .builds up steam! At least for the first 30 minutes.

for the young girl with life ahead of her and not in love......or in love (doesnt matter) She does not want to deal with geriatrics or wait on his old knob to warm up....lol. PLease people!
Hm! When I was.... 18 I had a lover over 40. He was athletic & a teacher. He didn't have any problems with performance. However, the men I fooled around with who were... NOT athletic... did have performance issues... Hm. I was a very busy girl. And I wasn't in love either at the time.

The guy I'm with now isn't athletic but he's buff from manual labor. So maybe being in shape is the biggest... hahaha! ... key.

Sorry I didn't read more before posting. I think I've seen this "theme" over the past 2 years here before, now that I think of it. O well. I've overexposed myself for the day.
