Default OMG OK Cupid is hopeless

Maybe it's just boring DC.

E-V-E-R-Y S-I-N-G-L-E P-R-O-F-I-L-E

"I'm really laid back."

"On Fridays, I'm either out at a happy hour with friends, at a dive bar, but I'm perfectly content curling on the couch at home with a good book and a glass of wine."

"I'm really independent"

"I'm a consultant/work at an NGO/work at a non-profit."

"I enjoy trying out new restaurants and exploring the city."

"I travelled to <Enter Boring Nothern European Country Everyone Has Been To> and it changed my life!" (Therefore, I am super well-rounded and well-travelled and know everything.)

"If you're Republican, don't bother contacting me."

I honestly think that this has to be a DC thing. Profiles here lack any originality or uniqueness.

We'd probably agree on a lot of things. But my concern isn't lack of dates, it's finding someone unique and special.

hahahah^^^

Yeah, OKC blows, everything about it. The algorithm (yes I'm sure someone who's got a "40% Enemy" rating is a great match, thanks for suggesting her!) is awful. The women all act like they just want a down-to-earth friendly fellow and then never respond to a well-written message (ironically it's often the ones who say "please don't message me if you're just gonna say 'sup'"). Some of them do sound pretty interesting but not one has given me the time of day when I ask it.

To be honest though, I find it hard to really talk about myself through text. Or at least in the form of self-summaries. In an actual conversation, even through text, I can do it much better.

So why don't the 3 of you form a buddy group?

There's 3 of you right here, 3 is a group. 3 can be anything, even a boat!
