yup! I can see how it helped, but I don't think it helped as much as I think it did. My room was upstairs with him, but he would routinely fall asleep on the couch, and with the doors shut I could still hear him very loudly. That guy has pipes!

Yup, just send the guy downstairs to sleep so you can have the bed to yourself! Or he not be as close to you otherwise!
I find a queen bed too small for two anyway in the long run (it's fine short-term) and my bedroom is not big enough for a king. I suppose my relationship fate has been already decided.
