I don't care about such things and I don't think they're indicators of anything at all.

Hmmm this is kinda dumb. But I'll bite. My seat is close up because I am short. I drive with two hands at the top of the wheel or bottom. Sometimes just left handed since I am lefthanded and that's the stronger hand.
Sexually? I like top or bottom. And have a great arm? Lol

Much more interesting to me is the woman who chooses to drive a stick. Not because it got 2 more mpg or it was cheaper, because she wanted to. This girl likes to manipulate the shifter, clutch, throttle, She does so smoothly and likes feeling the shifter engage the next gear. She likes the feedback through the pedals, the sound of the engine. The joining of two parts into one whole. Conversely she may bang through the gears, the engine howling, adrenaline pumping, for no more reason than the simple joy, the sensation, the experience. This is my kind of woman, the rest simply arrive at their destination.

I don't think I'd think much of it. My hand position changes all the time. If I'm cruising around on familiar roads without traffic in good weather I'm likely to lower the window and have one arm kind of hanging out while driving with one hand (usually placed at 12 o'clock). If I'm on the freeway I drive with both hands approximately at 10 and 2 since that's what I'm used to and it gives me the most control.

They're also in complete control, which is what REALLY bugs you ...

I exclude very old people from this observation. They drive like this because they no longer feel confident in their abilities.

Of what? The vehicle? Their lives? Something else...?
I'm willing to bet you don't drive this way.

I don't think I would even notice to be honest. You know what I do dislike though...when a guy sits very low in his seat, with his seat reclined, with his legs spread wide and only the right hand on the steering wheel...oh and the windows are down with music blasting. This is the guy who thinks he is too cool for school, like bunch of pretentious Sheepshead Bay boys.

lol, I do that (not the reclining bit though). I find something very very liberating about driving with the windows down and the music blasting (not so loud that you can hear it clearly on the other side of an interstate, just enough so that I can hear it over the wind. Maybe makes the rearview shake a little bit ). Especially when the weather is nice... ****, I get excited just thinking about it! Just me, a machine (I've done this in a freakin' minivan and it's still enjoyable) and the open road. Crisp fresh air in the morning, or cooling yet slightly warm air in the evening. Basically doable in weather from about 45F-95F. There is no greater pleasure, in my opinion, than a good drive.
