LOL, I notice it's people from outside of Ca that call it Cali.....

I've lived here my whole life and the only time I hear it refered to as Cali is from that LL CoolJ song.

Several lustrum ago a crooked realtor ran a Ponzi scheme which cost many folks their money, that was put up for a fraudulent loan investment. She was sentenced to two years in prison. Shortly after she got out, she had a heartattack & died.

Well, this sounds like such a cliche line, but thank God you weren't married to her and much deeper in, you have dodged the bullet, albeit with a heartbreak.

There are so many scammers like that everywhere. People think they are immuned to this, but it could happen to anyone.

I had my doubts right from the start, but the oldest was 5 before I found out for sure..

It's a while back, so I'm cool with it now, but I learned a lot from it.
