Luke Danes from Gilmore Girls. Ruggedly sexy and down to earth, loyal to those who deserve it, intelligent, great sense of humor and sarcasm, and loves to cook for me.

Oh wait, I found him!

Hmmmm........The Notebook guy. Yes corny but true. He was adventurous and fun. Loyal and caring. He stayed with her through hard times, even when she was old and sick.

There was a girl I went to high school with who is similar to her, but unfortunately she is married.
Far as marriage, I like old fashioned women like June Cleaver or Mrs. Brady. Far as dating, somebody like Crissy Snow (Three's Company) would be cool.

Weeknights I'd vote for the dad in "Eddie's Father". Weekends: Jack Reacher from the Lee Childs novels.

Rob Fleming from Nick Hornby's High Fidelity, as far as the introspective audiophile bit goes...not so much on the clueless-in-love, semi-cad side of the character.

Well, by the end of the book he's wised up a little, so you're probably safe.
