for example, ladies, would you find a guy you're attracted less or more if he wasn't into sports, cared about fashion, watched hgtv or oxygen, and preferred to go to the spa and get manicures or acted like the typical guy?

i'm real curious to know what the gays and lesbians in here think about this since gays and lesbians that don't act like the typical gay/lesbian frowned on.

Yep! I'm a black male and I think most black women have horrible attitudes. But based on my experience, this is pretty accurate.

Stereotypes help you to know what to expect, and often turn out to be a true reflection of your expectation.

Initially, when I read the title of this thread, I was going to reply with something along the lines of "its ridiculous to be attracted to or not attracted to someone based on stereotypes" until I read the post from 80s kid about black chicks.

Many black chicks are physically very very attractive, but they become UGLY as soon as they start talking that "I be", "Im is", "Yall fenda", "Holla", "You so molded" type talk. I guess its the stereotypical ghetto stereotype that just totally turns me off.

I met this black chick yesterday who is from Africa and she is flat out one of the most beautiful women I have ever seen in my life. Her face was just flawless and perfect skin. She's a recent college grad and when she opened her mouth to speak it was friggin like a song or poem. Great accent and you can tell she sounds like she just graduated Oxford. Same with that black chick on CNN Aisha or Asha (or something like that). Just beautiful, beautiful, beautiful. She wouldnt be so hot if she opened her mouth and spewed out gems like "Im fenda go ..." or "Yall be trippin'"

Unfortunately yes. You tend to walk where the ground is softer.

"Im fenda go" - translation = "I am preparing to leave" OR "I must hastily prepare for my departure".
