Wow...amazing pictures. I'm so happy that Hannah is ahave a great time. I don't think I can say it enough...thanks to the both of you in sharing such a wonderful story. This is definately better than General Hospital. No drama, all smiles and googly eyes. I love happy stories.

I don't even know Rance or Sweden, but the sentiment in the posts here and the breathtaking beauty of that landscape leaves me with a heart that is smiling! I hope you both continue to enjoy each other in such a beautiful setting! Wow!

And onto Seward.


Only 1 1/2 hour drive from the house. On board the M/V Fjordland for an hour and bam...we're on Fox Island at the lodge.


Had a killer lunch of grilled salmon, wandered out back, then climbed the mountain behind the lodge.




You can see the lodge down below.


Needless to say...the view was awesome, but the hike was pretty rough and steep.


Trying out the new lens when a sister ship pulled in to the lodge. I'm thinking I like this new lens...


Back down the mountain for a elegant dinner (man having a chef do the cooking is the way to go) and then a hike on the beach. I learned Hannah how to make a shelter (ok she needs practice) and to make smores in the rain.


Hannah's got some great pictures and I really think she needs to contribute to this tribute! A mean storm moved in overnight and I really thought we were gonna lose the roof of the cabin a time or two. Ok...more to follow...
