Social proof isn't a girl wanting a guy because he's slept with or is currently sleeping with many women.

Social proof is when a guy is surrounded by many attractive women and therefore is assumed he has attractive qualities and has immense knowledge and experience in the situation (being with girls).

I mean, do hunters go off in the wild and kill wild boars with a bow and arrow and then say, "Eh. We'll just keep this kill on the low low." Bedding a bodacious babe is one of the great pleasures in life for a man. Why would we ever keep that a secret?

If anything, the bigger problem is men lying about the sex they are not having.

I'm glad we can find a common background. In my fraternity I was one of the alpha dogs, amongst many of my fraternity brothers. Did we share stories about hot girls we bedded the night before at Sunday chapter meetings? Absolutely, some of the funniest, most ridiculous stories I've ever heard were from my fraternity brothers. But if you for a second think that we shared every night, every name and every detail, then you are not even in the same circle.

A gentleman never kisses and tells. And since that is impossible he has to pick and choose his stories...

Both examples are examples of social proof. Women are more attracted to guys that are desired by other women. It's been proven by science, PUA's, and any guy with a limited amount of dating experience.

All things being equal if a girl could choose the alpha male guy who's sleeping with 3 different women and has over 100 partners are the guy who's not sleeping with anyone and has had 10 partners, she would choose the latter. Sleeping with many different women is not desirable buddy, it's his ability and that he has many women who want to sleep with him that is desirable.

Nah. She might sleep with either. She also might settle with either of them. But she would prefer the former for both sleeping and settling hence he would be more desirable.
