I was just saying recently what a dichotomy life can be, you can have the most beautiful things in the world, yet, we have the most horrific things right next to them.....

Yeah, I was pondering on the people who died in the Twin Towers on 9/11, the other day. How it must have been hell on earth to watch a commercial airliner headed directly in their direction and the horror they must have felt so as to jump outside the window rather than get killed by that monster. Just unspeakable horrors like these that happen to normal people all over the world on a daily basis.
All of that could be true of another plain. A better one without all the nightmarish yuckiness.
You can't have the Yang without the Yin.
Look, I'm the last guy anyone would call Little Mr. Sunshine, but even I can see the sunshine through the clouds - more so right now, surrounded by homeless folk and flood mud.
I have actually done a salad with watermellon and feta. It was pretty darn good too although I couldn't sell the kids on it.
My mom used to put salt on her watermellon, brought out the sweetness in it, or so she said. I had never tried it that way. But I guess the salty cheese would be the same concept.
I'll salt watermelon and cucumbers, sugar on the grits.

I have always hoped for their sake, the ones in the impact zone, never saw it coming.

It's all about perspective.
I don't know. I wonder about the people in Somalia who not only have nothing to eat, but now they are dying of thirst. From an outsider's point of view, it might seem like such an adventure to travel on foot day and night in the hot sun to the nearest town just to get something to drink cuz they are dying. But from the Somalian's point of view, they just want some dang water.
This is, of course, caused by people. People hurting people.

Mmmm... Chocolate. I love love love chocolate. If that girl what was in the matrix wearing the black leather was standing there for the taking next to a good piece of handcrafted chocolate and I had to choose between I'd take her. But I'd look longingly at the chocolate, it wouldn't be a no brainer.
