Yum, having some rice milk. I'll cook up my veggie soup pretty soon using the broth I made last weekend. That stuff has been marinating in the fridge all week, so it should be pretty tasty. And I have to finish my video!

I have this huge, beautiful crock pot that I've never used. One of these days! Maybe I should cook my soup in it?

You really should!
They're made for lots of soup! And you can make it all in the crock pot in the morning, and let it cook throughout the day on low and when you get home dinner is already there!

Speaking of food again...
Got lazy today and opened a canned chili con carne, added left over shredded drunken spareribs, and wrapped it in my homemade (made the other day) tortilla. Topped with sour cream, lettuce, diced tomato, grated cheese...and bingo! my meal...since nobody else is home. No guacamole though.

Actually, the little dog used to put them out of their misery and then bring me their fresh kill at 4 a.m., throw it at my feet or next to my bed, and stand there all tufted out and proud waiting for a prize. Unfortunately, she recently passed away after 15 years of service and the one I have now actually rescues and adopts small animals - remember the possum in the bed incident- so, it remains to be seen how this will play out. I opened a small drawer in the kitchen, last time, to get an SOS pad and one jumped out and clung to my sweater and I was doing this dance, only seen in mosh pits, in my kitchen, just screaching. It's rather ironic that I discovered the dog food hoarding the day after I burried the dog as if they were sitting out there watching me, rubbing their little grubby paws and planning their takeover.
The last time I had a home invasion I lost my oven, they used it as a camp ground and ripped all the insultation out of it and when I opened my good, large leather luggage almost a whole bag of dog food spilled out.
