Heck all I bought was groceries! I had to look at the statements because I can usually get to Wed or Thurs.

I keep telling him I need MORE money otherwise he'll be eating a lot of rice and beans!

Me too!

I keep trying to squirrel away a few bucks here and there but we always wind up needing it for medicine or a birthday gift or something that pops up last minute.

I'll tell you what too...just between this thread and I...I'm not the spender in this house, but I always get "blamed" for it.

We're both pretty good on spending.... I've really started to get my financial house in order the last several yrs.... Mrs. Chow has helped out a lot with that..... I save my tax refund every yr now... I used to blow it.

Being debt free and saving money is my goals now... I don't care about appearances.. and looking "like" i have money.... I actually look like a bum...

A bum with minimal debt.

Course, that is probably the long hair...

Yeah I will tell you it kills me that we have a car payment now but it was time to replace one of our vehicles.

We look like the rest of middle class America otherwise.

I have a company vehicle and up til just a yr ago, we needed a new car big time for Mrs. Chow... I was starting to look around for one and then her Dad offered his "old" car to us, I offered some money to him and he said no and gave it to us for free... its about 12 yrs old, but it only has 50k on it and it is in great shape...

Can't beat that with a baseball bat......

Looks like we will visit the car payment situation soon; I have mixed emotions about it since we haven't had a car payment in several years and our insurance is < $350/ 6 months.
