Last time I checked and I check often... We are all going to die. I want to die happy. Or during the act of passion. Then they won't be able to close the casket.

It is okay to enjoy the comfort food once in a while. But to make it an every day event is not prudent.

Don't have to deal with that...we don't have any family here. But that would irritate me too!!
She went with her friends; perhaps her husband wasn't interested IDK.

Oh, I was beyond irritated and she was copping an attitude to top it all off. I have just a few relatives here as most are scattered across the country. The lack of family drama is with me.

Oh man...you GOTTA have gravy with chicken-fried steak! You need to get one of those little shakers....put a couple of TB of flour, lots of salt and pepper, and 2 cups or so of water, and shake it up really well, and then pour it in the pan with the meat drippings. Stir it till it is smooth and it thickens up...yum!! My momma taught me well.

I hear ya!

I actually acquired these eating habits when I was a diabetic with my last pregnancy.

Then I started gaining weight back that I lost and I ate even less...not realizing at the time it was because of my low-functioning thyroid.

I've been told I eat like a bird, but I do pick all day long.

I joined skype to keep in contact with a friend..but I rarely see her on there. It reminded me of yahoo IM though, which is how we used to keep in touch.

Its got to be the real deal with real sausage gravy. And sausage gravy that has to be looked at with a scanning electron microscope in order to find any sausage aint sausage gravy. It should be loaded. I think it goes without saying that it isn't real gravy if a packet was opened right?
I don't see the dilemma; do the hottie first, reheat the chicken fried steak, when finished reheat the hottie.
